How to Use the TCU GPA Calculator
Follow these steps for an accurate GPA result
1Choose Weighted or Unweighted GPA
Use the toggle at the top of the TCU GPA Calculator to switch modes. Unweighted GPA treats all courses equally on the 4.0 scale — an A in a regular class and an A in an AP class are worth the same. Weighted GPA rewards course difficulty: AP/IB courses earn +1.0 bonus points and Honors courses earn +0.5, both capped at 5.0.
2Enter Your TCU Courses
Each semester starts with three course rows. Click "Add Course" to add more. For each course, optionally type a name, set the credit hours, pick your letter grade from the US Decimal Scale (A+ = 4.0), and choose the course type (Regular, Honors, or AP/IB). Texas Christian University uses A+ as the highest grade, worth 4.0 points.
3Add All Your Semesters
Click "Add Semester" to add as many terms as you need — fall, spring, and summer semesters are all supported. The TCU GPA Calculator automatically computes both per-semester GPA and your running cumulative gpa across all semesters at once.
