What if the required score is over 100%?

A result above 100% means your desired grade is mathematically impossible given your current scores and the remaining exam weight. To fix this, lower your target grade until the required final score falls within 0–100%. Alternatively, check whether any assignment grades can be improved (e.g., resubmissions, extra credit) before the final.

What if the result is negative or zero?

A zero or negative required score means you have already achieved your target grade even if you score 0% on the final. That said, earning as high a score as possible on the final is still advisable — it can push you into a higher grade band or strengthen your Auburn University GPA.
